一、宗旨 Purpose

甄選學業優良、外語流利、品性良好之本院學生,於每年四月赴日本京都大學經營管理大學院研修三學期,藉此培育學生國際觀,並促進國際學術交流。學生得於符合兩校規定下,獲頒本院與京都大學經營管理大學院所授予之正式學位。

We would like to select students who have excellent academic performance, fluent in foreign languages, and have good character to join the double degree program. Selected students will go abroad to Kyoto Graduate School of Management (Kyoto GSM) of Japan in April for a three-semester studying period and obtain an international perspective and promote international academic exchanges. Selected students shall comply with the provisions of the two schools and will receive formal degrees awarded by the College of Management of National Taiwan University (NTU COM) and Kyoto GSM upon the completely of all requirements.       

 

二、申請資訊 Application

錄取名額本院碩士班學生2名

Admission:  Two Master’s-level students

 

申請資格  Eligibility

1. 本院會計研究所、企業管理碩士專班(GMBA) 二年級(含)以上之在學碩士班學生。(不含休學中學生)

  Applicants are required to be at least second year Master-level candidates in the Accounting Department or GMBA Department. (Students must be enrolled at the time of applying)

2. 學業成績優良,平均成績達GPA 3.0(含)以上。

  Excellent academic performance and the average GPA is more than 3.0

3. 語言能力規定Language ability

(1)        如欲申請京都大學經營管理大學院英語授課課程--International Project Management Course,須具備托福(TOEFL-iBT) 90 分(含)以上或雅思 (IELTS) 6.5 分(含)以上或GMAT 550 分(含)以上

If an applicant would like to take the English taught course--International Project Management Course offered by Kyoto GSM, then TOEFL-iBT 90 scores (or higher) or IELT 6.5(or higher) or GMAT 550 (or higher) is required.

(2)        如欲申請修習京都大學經營管理大學院非英語授課之常規課程(如:商業領導、專案營運管理、服務價值創造或財務會計),須具備日本語言檢定 N2 級(含)以上

If an applicant would like to take regular courses taught in Japanese offered by Kyoto GSM, ie. Business / Leadership, Project Operations Management, Service Value Creation or Finance/Accounting, then JLPT Level N2 (or higher) is required.

 

4. 赴京都大學經營管理大學院之前,會計研究所學生應完成系所要求之先修課程及必修課程;企業管理碩士專班(GMBA)學生應完成30學分必修課程。

An applicant who belongs to the Accounting Program shall complete the prerequisite subjects and the required subjects at NTU COM before enrolling at Kyoto GSM. Any student who belongs with the GMBA Program shall complete 30 credits of Core Courses at NTU COM before enrolling at Kyoto GSM.

 

學分規定  Credit requirement

1.   赴京都大學經營管理大學院修業期間應至少取得 24 學分,包括:專業科目 14 學分及實務科目 8 學分;如修習常規課程學位,其中專業科目 8 學分及實務科目 4 學分,分屬各學位之指定科目。另外有4 學分取自高等科目,亦即研討會(Workshop) (I) 及 (II)

A DDP student shall take a minimum of 24 credits at Kyoto GSM, including 14 credits from specialized subjects and 8 credits from practical subjects. 8 credits of specialized subjects and 4 credits of practical subjects shall be taken from the subjects designated by each program. The credits also include 4 credits from advanced subjects, titled Workshop (I) & (II), mandated and offered at Kyoto GSM.

 

2.   學生在本院修習之學分,經京大教務委員會核可,京大經管院至多可採計 14 學分。所修習之科目,如在臺大管院與京大經管院屬相同科目者,學分不予以採計。

A maximum of 14 credits can be transferred from NTU COM, subject to the approval of the Kyoto Academic Affairs Committee. It is not acceptable to obtain credits for similar subjects at both Kyoto GSM and NTU COM.

 

3.  學生毋須撰寫日本京都大學經營管理大學院之畢業論文,唯本院之畢業論文仍應完成。

A DDP student does not need to write a thesis with Kyoto GSM, but will have to complete the graduation thesis of NTU COM.  

 

修業期間  Studying period

本計畫之總修業期間,原則上均為三年。參與學生在接待學校之修業期間,原則上為一年。

The program will, in principle, last for three years. A DDP student will, in principle, stay at the host university for one year.

 

 

申請文件  Application Portfolio

1.申請表。(請至管院網站下載,英文繕打)

2.個人申請說明。(請說明申請動機,英文繕打 A4一面,無格式限制)

Personal statement. (Please include the motivation behind why one wishes to be a part of the program. Shall be written in English and is limited to one side on size A4 paper) 

3.成績單英文版正本一份。

A university formal transcript in English.

4.有效期限內語言能力證明影本一份:

 Photocopy of effective language certificate

(1) 如欲申請京都大學經營管理大學院英語授課課程--International Project Management Course,須具備托福(TOEFL-iBT) 90 分(含)以上或雅思 (IELTS) 6.5 分(含)以上或GMAT 550 分(含)以上

註:書面資料須依以上順序排列,以長尾夾或迴紋針固定。

Note: The application portfolio shall be submitted with a binder clip or paperclip in the order listed.

 

三、報名時間/方式  Application Period & Procedure

1.  報名時間:2014年9月19日,上午9:00-12:00 / 下午2:00-4:00。

Application period: September 19, 2014 – 0900-1200am, 1400-1600pm

2.  報名方式:將所有申請文件繳交至管理學院一號館9樓903室  萬小姐(3366-1036)。

Application Procedure: Deliver your Application Portfolio to Julia, room903, 9th floor, Building I of CoM

註:已完成報名手續者,不得要求退件。所有書面資料將不歸還,如有需要,請申請者自存副本。

The Application Portfolio cannot be returned. Please save your own documents in electronic file well.  

 

四、甄選方式  Selection Method

經評審委員會書面審查後,決議錄取名單。

The admissions list will be announced after the admissions board has reviewed all the applications.

 

五、錄取名單公告 / 錄取確認  Announcement & Enrollment Confirmation

錄取名單預定於2014年9月26日下午17時公告於管院網站,錄取學生須於2014年9月29日下午17時前持錄取確認單至管院一號館9樓903室 確認。未如期確認者,視同放棄錄取資格,由備取同學遞補。

The admissions list is scheduled to be announced on September 26, 2014 at 17:00 on the College of Management website. Admitted students must turn in their confirmation letter to the College of Management, Room 903 by 17:00 on September 29, 2014. Those whom do not confirm their position will be deemed disqualified and their spot given to a student on the waiting list.  

 

六、雙聯學位學生須知  Duel-Degree Student Conditions

1.  雙聯學位學生由本院甄選推薦,其入學許可之核定由接待學校決定。若被接待學校拒絕入學,即喪失錄取資格,申請人不得有異議。

Applicants are subject to the approval by the selection board and the final decision shall be made by the host university. In the event an applicant is disqualified for not meeting the criteria, no objections are allowed.

2.  一經放榜,不得以任何理由要求更換錄取學校(院),亦不得以任何理由延後出國研修學期或要求保留雙聯學位學生資格。

Once the results are posted, under no circumstances will the accepted applicants be allowed to switch schools nor will the students be allowed to postpone the mandatory training program.

3.  除重大天災等不可抗力之因素外,錄取學生未如期赴國外研修、或因可歸責於個人之因素(如:資料不全)而未獲接待學校核可入學、或終止本計畫提前返國者,皆視為放棄雙聯學位學生資格。

Other than a natural disaster, students must attend the training program. Admitted students who do not attend the training program due to reasons outside the school’s approval or leaves the program on their own accord are deemed to have waived their status in the program.

4.  錄取者於確認錄取資格後不得任意放棄雙聯學位學生資格,放棄資格者,須繳交罰款新臺幣15,000元整至本院國際化專用帳戶。

Accepted students who have confirmed their enrollment into the duel-degree program shall not rescind their decision. Students who choose to withdraw from the program shall defray NT$15,000 deposit in the designated account of NTU COM.

5.  雙聯學位學生須在本校註冊並繳交全額學雜費,免繳交接待學校學雜費及學分費。食宿費、旅費、書籍費、交通費、護照費、簽證費、保險費及其他個人支出須自行負擔。

Accepted students shall pay the tuition and credit fees of their home university and are exempt from the tuition and credit fees of their host university. Students are responsible for their own room and board, travel expenses, books, transportation costs, passport and visa fees, insurance, and other expenses which may occur during their stay overseas.

6. 所有錄取學生皆須自行辦理宿舍申請、簽證、選課、機票、機場接送及保險等個人事宜。

All admitted students are required to apply their own dormitory, visa, courses, flights, airport transportation, insurance, and other personal matters.

7.  除學生平安保險外,本院有權強制所有錄取學生於出國研修前另購買足額之保險(含醫療、意外、海外急難救助等)。本院不具替學生購買保險之責任與義務,若學生未購買保險,本院保有取消其錄取資格之權利。

In addition to student insurance, NTU COM requires students enrolled in the duel-degree program to purchase insurance that covers medical, accident, and overseas disaster expenses. Though the university cannot force a student to purchase the insurance, if the student chooses not to purchase the insurance, NTU COM retains the authority to disqualify the student from the program.

8. 本計畫未保證可申請到接待學校宿舍,本院不負責協助宿舍申請,接待學校亦無保證提供宿舍之義務;未申請到宿舍之學生,須自行安排外宿事宜。

The duel-degree program cannot guarantee dormitory housing from the host university and NTU COM is not responsible for assisting with dormitory applications. If a student is unable to apply for dormitory housing, they shall have to arrange other sleeping quarters.

9. 若因個人因素無法取得學生簽證者,錄取資格即取消,本院不負責協助學生辦理簽證。

NTU COM is not responsible for assisting with the students’ visa application. In the event a student is unable to obtain a student visa, their enrollment in the program shall be rescinded.

10. 雙聯學位學生於計畫期間結束後,如未能完成本計畫之全數規定,將不授予雙聯學位。

If at the end of the arranged period a student fails to meet and complete all the conditions of the program the student shall not be granted a duel degree.

11. 已修滿本校應修學分者,於出國研修前得向教務處申請延長修業年限。

Students who have met the conditions and are able to travel abroad shall apply for a graduation extension.

12. 申請及參與本計畫期間不得辦理本校畢業或休學手續,若有此等事情發生,將取消其雙聯學位學生身分。

If during the application period a student graduates or withdraws from school, the student’s duel-degree status shall be revoked.

13. 本計畫結束後,必須按時回到本校繼續完成學位,不得擅自延長停留期限。如有違反情況,須自負一切法律責任並按校規處置。

At the end of the scheduled program period, all students shall report back to their home school to complete their degree. No extensions shall be granted to complete the overseas portion of the program. Any violations shall be viewed as disqualifying acts.

14. 所有學生返國後,不得以任何理由要求退還學分費或學雜費。

After a student returns to their home school, no requests for a refund of tuition or credit fees.

15. 具役男身分同學須依法完成相關手續,並於計畫期結束後準時返國,不得有滯留國外之情形;如有違反情況,須自負一切法律責任並按校規處置。

Students must act according to the laws and regulations of the program. Students are required to complete the program within the allotted time period and return to their home school. In the event a student is stranded overseas, they shall have to handle it legally.

 

七、雙聯學位學生義務  Duel-Degree Student Obligations

1.  雙聯學位學生於接待學校完成註冊手續後,即視同該校學生,應遵守該校一切規定,不得做出有損兩校校譽之情事,如有違反情況,須同時接受兩校校規處置。

After a duel-degree student registers with their host university, they are deemed a student of that university. Under no circumstances shall a student do anything which may harm the reputations of the two universities they represent. Any violations shall be handled according the rules and regulations of the two schools.

2.  出國參與計畫期間須密切與本院保持連繫,並留意自身安全。

Students shall maintain a line of communication with NTU COM over the course of the program and shall be aware of their own safety overseas.

3. 所有參加本計畫同學,應於返國後一個月內繳交在接待學校研修心得報告後,方可領取接待學校之成績單或相關文件。本院有權在網路公開同學所繳交之報告,或使用於各種相關活動文宣用品上。

All students in the program shall submit a report regarding their studies and experiences overseas. NTU COM maintains the right to use and report any information in the reports for commercial purposes related with the College of Management.

4.  雙聯學位學生返國後,於在學期間應盡義務協助及輔導本校同學,提供諮詢及資訊;本院有權提供其聯絡方式給往後錄取之同學,不須另徵得其同意。

After returning to their home university, duel degree students are responsible for providing advice to their fellow classmates. NTU COM maintains the right to provide the students’ contact information to their fellow students and does not require prior permission.
