The global economy is constantly changing and unpredictable. Business management becomes more and more complicated, given the gradual paradigm shift in industries and the increasingly diversified business models caused by technology innovation. Existing formula for success no longer guarantees the same performance in future. One of the imminent tasks of business managers, therefore, is to steer organizational reformation.
The trend of globalization has posed innumerable risks and uncertainties to the macro environment as well as the regional business opportunities. It is therefore important for the entrepreneurs in this environment to be fully alert to and well prepared for the changes in the macro environment. To embrace the rapidly-changing global financial market and the digital technology revolution, they are required to leverage the opportunities for dynamic coopetition, integrate the global and local competitive advantages and increase the innovation momentum of the companies.
To meet these requirements, the College of Management, NTU has launched the Global Executive Program (GEP) collaboratively with the Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. GEP is a senior management development program, boasting the top-class faculty from four top-class business schools in Taiwan, China and two other continents of the world. The program is also distinguished by its depth of learning, breadth of perspectives and time efficiency. Through this platform, SEEDS endeavors to help the entrepreneurs construct innovative business concepts and international management perspectives; and in the meantime provide to the cross-strait business elites the opportunities for cross-cultural learning and leadership networking.
